Pasture Performances & Special Events
The beautiful working lands & striking natural landscapes of Sauk County served as both backdrop & costar to a variety of DTour acts including:
- The Hay Rake Ballet, choreographed by Sarah Butler. Learn more.
- A special three-course food pairing and mezcal tasting event featuring El Tigre Mezcal and Chef Uruslino Rueda held at Freethinkers' Hall in Sauk City
- A crankie puppet performance in the Witwen tabernacle by Myra Su
- Damp Edges, a durational dance performance that explored our relationship with wetlands as ecosystems of vitality, resilience and change by WEdances
- A walk along the DTour route by Maria Patricia Tinajero interspersed with community conversations around mobility, agriculture and soil health with Mercedes Falk, Director of Puentes/Bridges
- Midwest Battery and Percussive Maintenance, a project by Kevin Carnes and Brandi Brandes in collaboration with metal sculptor John Himmelfarb
- Live music in the gazebo and tabernacle at Witwen Park as well as along the route by: Minor Moon, Orillia, Lydia Park, Felix B. Sainz, Jr. and many more!
