Wrannock is the Sauk County, WI family of Mike, Lisa, and Angus Mossman, performing traditional Celtic music on guitar, tenor banjo, whistles, cittern, bodhran, and harmonium. These tunes and ballads with their rich lyrics and harmonies have traveled through many years from the British Isles. Wrannock is a Scottish name for the Wren that inhabits Britain and Ireland. The same bird as the Winter Wren that graces the stream gorges in the Baraboo Hills. Its beautiful voice connects us with our Scottish heritage and the music we love.
