The
Reedikulous Puppet Festival is a week-long series
of free giant puppet making workshops followed by
a Main Street parade and performance. The workshops
consist of morning and afternoon sessions under a
big tent in Webb Park, Reedsburg. Chris & Jeannette
Lutter of Puppet Farm Arts in Ashland WI (
www.puppetfarm.com ) with the help of Wormfarm
Resident Artists and many adult volunteers, guide
kids and adults ranging in age from 2-72 in making
giant puppets using recycled materials. Cardboard,
fabric, plastic and various found objects are utilized
in making imaginative creatures of all shapes and
sizes. The Puppet Festival coincides with Reedsburg’s
Reedikulus Days in late July.
